Candied Cranberries

A decorative and delicious treat.

  • ½ cup (125mL) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (125mL) water
  • ½ cup (125mL) whole cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • ¼ cup (60mL) coarse decorating sugar


Step 1.

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water and simmer until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let cool for 10 minutes. Pour over cranberries in small bowl.

Step 2.

Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours.

Step 3.

Drain and toss with coarse decorating sugar until coated.
