Ingredients
- 100g Lindt Excellence 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate, chopped
- 2 medium-sized ripe avocados
- 175ml milk, at room temperature (see tip)
- 6 small dates or 2 large Medjool dates, destoned
- 125g unsweetened apple sauce
- 2 tsp maple syrup, or to taste
- Hazelnuts, chopped
- 4 squares of Lindt Excellence 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate

Method
Step 1.
Put the chopped chocolate into a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is melted. Remove from the heat and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
Step 2.
Slice open the avocados and remove the stone. Scoop out the flesh into a food processor.
Step 3.
Add milk, dates, apple sauce, maple syrup (to taste), and the melted chocolate to the food processor.
Step 4.
Blend for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is perfectly smooth.
Step 5.
Spoon the mixture into 4 medium-sized bowls or glasses. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. Top each serving with a square of Lindt Excellence 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate.
Step 6.
Serve straight away. Chocolate avocado mousse is best enjoyed in summer, offering a refreshing treat with its creamy, chilled texture.
