Makes: 1 gingerbread house
Lindt LINDOR White Chocolate Bar, 100g
Easy
Ingredients
- 1 pre-fab gingerbread house kit with royal icing
- 200g white chocolate bar, chopped (we used Lindt white chocolate Bar)
- 1 small tub of silver dragees, for garnishing
- 1tbsp edible glitter, for garnishing
Method
Step 1.
Assemble the gingerbread house according to the directions on the pack with the royal icing.
Step 2.
Place the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water and leave to melt for 5-6 minutes without stirring. Remove the bowl from the heat and leave the chocolate to cool for a few minutes until it is a pipeable consistency.
Step 3.
In batches, pour the chocolate into a piping bag fitted with a small round decorating nozzle. Pipe lace-like designs all over the roof. Pipe the doors and windows on the sides of the house. Garnish with silver dragees and edible glitter as desired.
Step 4.
Leave to stand until completely set.
Tip: Alternatively, instead of silver balls and edible glitter, decorate with your favourite Christmas candy.
